A couple of questions new players to the game ask frequently:

Can I delete tracks?
No, you can't delete old tracks. An option for this has been requested by many players though and has been forwarded to the developing team. Maybe this feature will be implemented in the future.

How do I set up a schedule?
Buy an engine and it will be waiting for you in the city.

Click on the engine and then choose 'schedule' in the menu that will pop up.

Choose the first stop, for example a coal mine, and click on it.

If you don't have waggons a small menu will pop up and you're able to buy waggons from there.

Then select a second stop to drop off the goods you're hauling, for example your city, and click on it. An then, confirm the schedule. Do note, not every industry is able to receive goods so you'll get an error if this is the case.

You can set up more then two stops (max. 9) in a schedule and make them as advanced as you wish.

Keep in mind multiple stops mean waitingtimes at each stop and engines need to accelerate before they're at their top speed again. So this might seem to make you a profit but with the wrong engines it won't.

Can I move to a different city?
No, you can only 'move' by laying down tracks to a new city and connect to it. Do note the game will not recognize this so at start up the game will load your first city and there is no function to select another to appear automatically when you enter. But you can use the "Center Map" button and choose the city (everytime you login) .An option for this has been requested by many players though and has been forwarded to the developing team. Maybe this feature will be implemented in the future.

Can I do competitions in that new city?
Yes, if you connected that new city to the three surrounding industries (coal, wood and grain) the game will generate competitions. This can take up to 24 hours before the game will recognize this.

The tutorial says I need to do a certain amount of competitions but I already did them.
The game doesn't recognize previous competitions, so you have to do them again in order to pass this task.

The tutorial says I need to buy another engine (Swallow) but I researched newer engines already.
The game doesn't recognize a different engine than the one that is asked by the tutorial. In order to pass this task you have to buy the Swallow even though you're able to buy better engines.

The tutorial says I need to research a new engine (Raven) but I researched newer engines already because I started in a later era.
The game doesn't recognize a different engine than the one that is asked by the tutorial. Please contact support about this issue, a fix will be provided with a future update.

The tutorial gave me an engine but it's already 70% condition.
This has been done because you need to service the engine a couple of tasks later on in the tutorial. Because many players can play reasonably fast the engine doesn't have enough time to be low in condition. Servicing an engine that is still 98% is a waste of money so the engine that has been given to you has a 70% condition to prevent this.

I can't research a new engine.
To be able to research a new engine you need to have specific upgrades of the previous engine in order to get further up the research tree. Take a close look at the arrows to make sure you research the correct upgrade in order to continue the tree.

Can I turn off the sound or effects in the game or change my password?
Yes, go to the world map and at the top right of your screen next to the log out button, it's the Options button, you're able to edit your settings. The 'Profile' tab shows you the account options. Go to the 'General' tab and you will see the game options to turn on or off. At the right part of this menu you're able to turn on and off specific notifications (small pop up notifications on the left of the game) in game.

Upgrade Voucher
Upgrade vouchers are won by luck in lottery. The voucher can be used to get for free one upgrade for one of your trains. If you buy more upgrades for a train at once, and you have one voucher, the voucher will be used on the most expensive upgrade you want to buy.
