In total there are six eras. Every era will bring it's own engines which you can research, upgrade and buy for your company.

1.Unicorn
The Unicorn is the very first engine of the sixth era. It can pull up to ten waggons and you can add five upgrades. A Spring tube (+2 Tractive force), Traction motor (+1 Acceleration), Trolley boom (+10km/h Speed), Flexicoil (+5km/h Speed) and a Rubber ring spring (+20% Reliability).

2.Medusa
The Medusa is the second in line and can pull five waggons and has a very high accelration compared to the Unicorn. You can add five upgrades. Starting with a Transformer cooling (+1 Tractive force), Actuator motor (+4 Acceleration), Aero-dynamics (+40km/h Speed), Circular cone spring (+20% Reliability) and a Steel tyre (+10% Reliability).

3.Basilisk
The Basilisk can pull up to eight waggons and can be upgraded four times. A Hydraulics mounting (+1 Tractive force), Jackshaft (+2 Acceleration), Imbalance wheel (+25km/h Speed), and a Carter propulsion (+25% Reliability).

4.Satyr
The Satyr is the fourth engine of this era and can pull up nine waggons. You can add six different upgrades to this engine.
