Era 1: Which passenger engines are available? Copy the directLink to this answer to your clipboard

In total there are six eras. Every era will bring it's own engines which you can research, upgrade and buy for your company.

1. Whale
We will start with an old English lady: the Class 1 Stirling Single of the Great Northern Railway was built between 1870 and 1875. Its most striking feature were the eight foot (2.44m) tall wheels on the only powered axle. In 1895 the engine took part in the Great Race to the North in which the two English railway companies GNR and LNR fought for the fastest journey time from London to Aberdeen. Here the engines achieved average speeds exceeding 100 km/h.

Passengers: 30
Reliability: 50%
Acceleration: Low (4/20)
Max. speed: 90 km/h

The Whale engine gives you 6 different upgrades which you can install. The Large steam dome provides the engine with the ability to carry +5 passengers. The Heat controller increases the acceleration with +1. The speed can be increased by installing a Steam header for +10 km/h and the Compound steam for an extra +5 km/. Lastly the Whale can be upgraded with a Safety vavle to increase the reliability with +10% and a Connecting rod bearing for another increase of +10%.
